Version 1.2
Effective Date: September 27, 2026
Last Updated: September 27, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between BlueForge Tech LLC, doing business as Get Me Paid ("Get Me Paid," "BlueForge," "we," "us," or "our"), and the person or business that creates or uses a Get Me Paid account ("you" or "Business"). These Terms govern your use of the Get Me Paid mobile application, website, hosted pages, software, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By creating an account, accepting these Terms, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy at https://getmepaid.dev/privacy, the Data Processing Addendum at https://getmepaid.dev/dpa when it applies, and the Messaging Addendum at https://getmepaid.dev/messaging when you use messaging features.
The legal documents governing the Service are provided in English only.
1. Eligibility and Authority
You must be at least 18 years old and have authority to bind the business you register. The Service is intended for lawful business and commercial use in the United States.
You may not create or use a business account on behalf of another person or entity unless you are authorized to do so. You are responsible for the acts of users you authorize to access your Business account.
2. The Service
Get Me Paid provides business software for invoicing, quotes, customer and service records, accounts-receivable and collection workflows, payment acceptance and recording, scheduling, workforce coordination, reminders, reporting, lightweight cash-basis expense and financial summaries, and related business operations.
Get Me Paid is not an accounting firm, accounting system of record, bank, money transmitter, card network, law firm, tax preparer, collection agency, or third-party debt collector. Features such as Simple Books, tax summaries, collection suggestions, payment behavior indicators, reports, and reminders are informational business tools and are not legal, tax, accounting, financial, credit, or collection advice.
We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features, provided that we will not retroactively change amounts already charged for a completed billing period except as permitted by law or the applicable payment provider.
3. License and Restrictions
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access and use the Service on devices you own or control for your internal business purposes.
You may not, except where applicable law expressly permits it despite this restriction:
•
copy, modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of the Service except through features we provide;
•
reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to discover source code, non-public APIs, models, or underlying technical methods;
•
sublicense, rent, lease, sell, resell, timeshare, distribute, or provide the Service as a service bureau;
•
use the Service or its non-public output, structure, or data to build or train a competing product or service;
•
access the Service through bots, scrapers, or other automated means except through an API or integration we expressly make available for that purpose;
•
bypass security, usage, entitlement, seat, billing, or access controls; or
•
use the Service in violation of law, third-party rights, provider rules, or these Terms.
4. Accounts, Security, Roles, and Business Ownership
You must provide accurate account and business information and keep it reasonably current. You are responsible for safeguarding account credentials, devices, and authorized access.
The hosting business user is the principal account owner for billing and ownership functions. Additional users may receive roles and permissions that limit what they can view or do. Effective access depends on both the Business's plan and the user's role permissions.
You are responsible for assigning appropriate permissions and promptly revoking access when a person should no longer have access. If you believe an account has been compromised, contact support@getmepaid.dev promptly.
Certain sensitive actions may require additional verification, such as password verification, device biometric confirmation, email verification, or SMS verification where enabled. Device biometric templates remain with the device platform; Get Me Paid receives only the result of the local authentication check.
5. Business Content and Customer Information
"Business Content" means information that you or your authorized users enter, import, upload, generate, or maintain through the Service about your business, customers, jobs, invoices, quotes, payments, expenses, communications, and related records.
As between you and Get Me Paid, you retain your rights in Business Content. You grant us a limited license to host, process, reproduce, transmit, format, translate, and otherwise use Business Content only as necessary to provide, secure, support, maintain, and improve the Service in accordance with these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
We may create aggregate or de-identified statistics from Service activity to operate, analyze, improve, and describe the Service, including public marketing metrics, provided those statistics do not identify a Business, customer, or individual.
For personal information about your customers that you enter or import, you are the controller or business and Get Me Paid acts as your processor or service provider as described in the Data Processing Addendum.
You represent that you have all rights, notices, permissions, and lawful bases needed to provide Business Content to the Service and instruct us to process it.
6. Collections and Customer Communications
The Business, not Get Me Paid, decides whether, when, why, and how to contact a customer or pursue payment. Get Me Paid may organize balances, prioritize accounts, generate reminders, record promises to pay, or suggest follow-up language, but it does not independently collect debts on your behalf.
It is a violation of these Terms to use the Service to harass, threaten, deceive, unlawfully pressure, impersonate, or contact any person in violation of law or a valid opt-out. A business collecting its own debts remains responsible for compliance with applicable collection laws, including the Texas Debt Collection Act and comparable state laws. If a user collects debts owed to others, additional laws, including the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, may apply.
You may not use the Service to collect, store, or communicate personal information about a person under 18 except where strictly necessary to identify an authorized customer contact in a lawful business record.
Email, push notifications, and other customer communications sent through the Service are additionally governed by the Messaging Addendum where applicable.
7. AI-Assisted Features and Translation
Some paid features use artificial intelligence to help draft collection messages, and Pro+ may use artificial intelligence to translate supported customer-facing custom text. Owner-facing collection drafts are generated in the sender's current app language. When supported translation is used for a manual collection message, the final text the owner edited may be translated immediately before delivery into the customer's current profile language. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, inappropriate, or misleading.
You are responsible for all customer-facing documents, templates, translations, and communications you create or send through the Service, whether entered by you, generated from a template, or drafted or translated with AI assistance. You must review an AI-assisted draft before using or sending it. For automated customer-text translation performed as part of delivery, you remain responsible for reviewing the underlying text, document, and information you chose to send.
AI output is not, and must not be relied upon as, legal, accounting, tax, financial, credit, collection, or other professional advice, counsel, or judgment.
We do not use Business Content to train Get Me Paid models. When OpenAI's API is used to provide an AI-assisted feature, we send only the content and limited context needed to produce the requested output. Under OpenAI's current API data-use terms, API inputs and outputs are not used to train OpenAI models by default unless an account holder expressly opts in to data sharing.
8. Customer Payments and Stripe Connect
When online invoice payment is enabled, payment processing is provided by Stripe, not Get Me Paid. Connected businesses use Stripe-hosted onboarding and Stripe payment services. Card numbers, security codes, and other PCI-sensitive payment credentials are collected and processed by Stripe and are not stored by Get Me Paid.
By enabling Stripe payment processing, you agree to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement, which includes the Stripe Services Agreement, as updated by Stripe from time to time. You authorize Get Me Paid to share information with Stripe as reasonably necessary to create, operate, support, and secure your connected account and payment functionality.
Customer invoice payments are processed as direct charges on the Business's connected Stripe account. Stripe is responsible for its payment-processing fees, onboarding requirements, payouts, and payment-provider rules. Get Me Paid does not charge a separate BlueForge/Get Me Paid platform or application fee on customer invoice payments. Stripe fees and other processor charges may apply to the Business.
Refunds, disputes, chargebacks, reversals, holds, and payouts remain subject to Stripe's rules and the Business's Stripe agreement. Get Me Paid may reflect provider events in the Service without altering historical transaction records.
Get Me Paid is not a bank, money transmitter, card network, or payment processor and does not hold customer payment funds on your behalf.
9. Plans, Subscriptions, Seats, and Billing
The Service offers Free, Pro, Pro+, workforce seats, and other plans or features shown on our pricing or billing pages. Current prices and included features are displayed before purchase.
For the U.S. launch, recurring Get Me Paid subscriptions and workforce seats are purchased and managed through getmepaid.dev and billed by Stripe. The Android app, and any future iOS app released under this launch model, use server-authoritative entitlements and do not provide Google Play Billing or Apple StoreKit subscription checkout.
Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the interval shown at purchase until canceled. By purchasing a recurring subscription, you authorize Stripe to charge the payment method associated with that subscription for recurring fees, taxes, and authorized seat changes.
For web subscriptions billed through Stripe, cancellation takes effect at the end of the then-current paid billing period. Normal cancellation does not create a partial-period refund. Upgrades may take effect immediately with provider-calculated proration. Downgrades generally take effect at the next renewal. Added workforce seats may be charged on a prorated basis; seat reductions may remain effective for billing until the provider-applied reduction date.
Except where required by law, required by an app marketplace, or expressly stated in a promotion, subscription charges are non-refundable and we do not provide partial-period refunds or credits for unused time.
If a payment fails, we may retry collection, limit paid functionality, or downgrade the affected Business to a free level after notice and any applicable grace period. Taxes may be added where required.
Promotions, trials, and discounts may have additional disclosed terms. Unless those terms expressly state otherwise, the same cancellation and refund rules apply.
A subscription is associated with the Business for which it was purchased. For the U.S. launch, Stripe is the recurring subscription billing provider.
10. App Marketplace Distribution
If you obtain the Service through Google Play, the Apple App Store, or another authorized marketplace, your download and use are also subject to that marketplace's applicable terms. Distribution through a marketplace does not mean that Get Me Paid recurring subscriptions are sold through that marketplace. If marketplace subscription billing is offered in the future, its management, cancellation, refunds, taxes, and payment-method handling may be controlled by the marketplace and the applicable purchase terms.
Apple App Store
If the Service is obtained through Apple's App Store, you and BlueForge acknowledge that these Terms are between you and BlueForge, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the Service. To the extent any warranty applies and the Service fails to conform to that warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any, as required by its rules; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. BlueForge, not Apple, is responsible for claims relating to the Service, including product, legal-compliance, and intellectual-property claims. The license is limited to use on Apple-branded products you own or control and as otherwise permitted by Apple's usage rules. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo and are not listed on a U.S. government prohibited or restricted-party list. You must comply with applicable third-party terms. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this section and may enforce it.
Google Play
If the Service is obtained through Google Play, you acknowledge that Google is not a party to these Terms, has no responsibility for maintenance or support of the Service except as required by Google Play's own terms, and is not responsible for claims between you and BlueForge relating to the Service. Your use of Google Play and purchases made through it are also subject to Google's applicable terms and policies.
11. Acceptable Use
You may not use the Service to:
•
violate any applicable law, regulation, court order, sanctions rule, or third-party right;
•
send unlawful, deceptive, harassing, abusive, discriminatory, or unauthorized communications;
•
send unlawful or unauthorized marketing or promotional communications;
•
upload malware, interfere with Service operation, probe or bypass security, or attempt unauthorized access;
•
falsify identity, payment status, customer consent, records, approvals, or business information;
•
use the Service for fraud, phishing, money laundering, or other unlawful financial activity;
•
transmit material that infringes intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or confidentiality rights;
•
use communications for provider-prohibited or unlawful content; or
•
assist another person in doing any of the above.
We may investigate suspected misuse and may suspend or restrict features when reasonably necessary to protect users, providers, the Service, or legal compliance.
12. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third-party services for functions such as cloud infrastructure, payments, email, account-security verification, push notifications, diagnostics, AI, website hosting, and advertising. Current providers that process Business Content or personal information are listed at https://getmepaid.dev/subprocessors.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms, policies, availability, and technical requirements. We are not responsible for a third party's independent acts or services, but we remain responsible for our contractual obligations regarding processors we engage as described in the Data Processing Addendum.
13. Advertising
Free-plan users may see advertising in supported versions of the mobile app. Get Me Paid configures its advertising integration for non-personalized or contextual advertising rather than personalized advertising profiles. Advertising providers may still process device and advertising identifiers, network and IP information, approximate location inferred from IP, app interactions, SDK diagnostic or performance data, ad requests, and ad-interaction data needed to deliver, measure, secure, and prevent fraud in advertising.
Pro and Pro+ plans do not display Get Me Paid-sponsored ads.
14. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. Canceling a paid subscription does not by itself delete the Business account; it changes billing and, after the paid period ends, may change available features.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay amounts due, create security or fraud risk, violate provider rules, or if suspension is reasonably necessary to comply with law. When practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to cure before terminating for a non-urgent breach.
15. Account Deletion, Export, and Retained Records
A request to delete a Business or account begins a 30-day deletion hold. During that hold, the request may be canceled and authorized users retain access, including available export tools. We recommend exporting needed records before final deletion.
After the hold expires and the deletion process is finalized, active access is removed and ordinary Business Content that is not required for financial, tax, dispute, security, fraud-prevention, provider, or audit purposes is deleted or de-identified according to our retention policy. Certain financial and audit records, including invoices, quotes, payments, adjustments, expenses, tax-related records, transaction/provider events, and historical attribution, reach a deletion-review point after seven years. They may remain retained until an approved deletion review is completed, and longer when required by law, an active dispute, a provider obligation, or a legal or security hold. Historical communication, consent, opt-out, provider, and related audit records may be retained for the period reasonably necessary to document compliance, preserve audit integrity, resolve disputes, or satisfy applicable law. Backup copies may remain until the applicable backup cycle expires.
Deletion does not require us to alter accurate historical records in ways that would compromise financial, audit, dispute, or legal integrity.
Account deletion information is available at https://getmepaid.dev/delete-account.
16. Ownership Transfers
Where the Service provides a Business ownership-transfer feature, the current hosting owner is responsible for selecting the intended recipient and verifying the recipient's information. A transfer is not effective until the recipient completes the required acceptance process. Once completed, the receiving owner assumes control of the Business account and associated Business Content, and the prior owner may lose access.
An ownership transfer does not transfer ownership of the parties' separate personal accounts and does not alter historical transaction attribution. The transferring Business is responsible for ensuring the transfer is lawful and authorized.
17. Intellectual Property
The Service, including software, interfaces, branding, designs, documentation, and other materials provided by us, is owned by BlueForge or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited license in these Terms, no right or license is granted to you.
"Get Me Paid," related marks, logos, and trade dress may not be used without our prior written permission except as necessary to truthfully identify the Service.
18. Feedback
If you submit ideas, suggestions, or feedback about the Service, you grant BlueForge a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, commercialize, and otherwise exploit that feedback for any lawful purpose without compensation or obligation to you. We will not publicly attribute feedback to you without permission unless required by law.
19. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. BLUEFORGE DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.
WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE AGAINST EVERY THREAT, OR THAT EMAIL, PUSH, PAYMENT, AI, COLLECTION, REPORTING, ACCOUNT-SECURITY VERIFICATION, OR THIRD-PARTY SERVICES WILL ALWAYS BE AVAILABLE, DELIVERED, ACCEPTED, ACCURATE, OR SUCCESSFUL.
YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR REVIEWING BUSINESS RECORDS, CUSTOMER COMMUNICATIONS, TAX SETTINGS, PAYMENT INFORMATION, AND AI-ASSISTED OUTPUT BEFORE RELYING ON OR SENDING THEM.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.
20. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BLUEFORGE AND ITS AFFILIATES, OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, LOST BUSINESS, LOSS OF GOODWILL, LOSS OF DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO GET ME PAID FOR THE SERVICE DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR (B) US $100.
These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law and do not limit liability that cannot legally be limited.
21. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless BlueForge and its affiliates, owners, officers, employees, and contractors from third-party claims, liabilities, damages, losses, penalties, and reasonable expenses, including attorneys' fees, arising from or relating to your Business Content; your customer communications, collection activity, billing, or services; your violation of these Terms, the Messaging Addendum, or applicable law; or your violation of another person's rights.
This provision does not require indemnification for claims caused by BlueForge's own unlawful conduct where indemnification is prohibited by law.
22. Informal Dispute Resolution
Before starting arbitration or a court proceeding other than an eligible small-claims action or request for emergency injunctive relief, the party asserting a dispute must give the other party written notice describing the dispute and requested relief. Notices to BlueForge must be sent to legal@getmepaid.dev.
The parties will attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute for 30 days after notice is received before commencing arbitration.
23. Binding Arbitration; Class-Action Waiver; Small-Claims Carve-Out
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR RIGHT TO GO TO COURT.
Except for an eligible small-claims action or a claim seeking temporary or preliminary injunctive relief to protect intellectual property, confidential information, account security, or unauthorized access, any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") under the AAA rules applicable to the dispute. For a commercial dispute, the AAA Commercial Arbitration Rules will apply unless AAA determines another set of rules is required by law or by the nature of the parties and claim. The arbitration will be conducted by one neutral arbitrator. The arbitrator may award the same individual remedies a court could award, subject to these Terms and applicable law.
Unless the parties agree otherwise or applicable law requires otherwise, the arbitration will take place in Brazos County, Texas, or may be conducted by video, telephone, or document submission when the applicable AAA rules permit.
EACH PARTY AGREES THAT CLAIMS MAY BE BROUGHT ONLY IN THAT PARTY'S INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF, CLASS MEMBER, OR REPRESENTATIVE IN A CLASS, COLLECTIVE, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. THE ARBITRATOR MAY NOT CONSOLIDATE CLAIMS OF DIFFERENT PERSONS OR PRESIDE OVER A REPRESENTATIVE OR CLASS PROCEEDING EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
30-Day Arbitration Opt-Out
You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending an email to legal@getmepaid.dev within 30 days after you first accept Version 1.0 of these Terms. Your notice must include your full name, Business name, account email address, and a clear statement that you opt out of the arbitration agreement in the Get Me Paid Terms of Service. Opting out of arbitration does not opt you out of the remainder of these Terms.
24. Jury-Trial Waiver
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FOR ANY DISPUTE THAT IS NOT SUBJECT TO ARBITRATION, EACH PARTY KNOWINGLY AND VOLUNTARILY WAIVES ANY RIGHT TO A TRIAL BY JURY.
25. Governing Law, Court Venue, and Time Limit for Claims
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Service are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent federal law or another law must apply.
Any court proceeding permitted under these Terms, including an eligible small-claims matter or request for injunctive relief, must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Brazos County, Texas, unless applicable law requires another venue.
To the extent permitted by law, any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service must be filed within two years after the claim accrued, or it is permanently barred. This contractual period does not shorten a limitations period where applicable law prohibits doing so.
26. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in law, the Service, vendors, billing, security, or business operations. For a material change that adversely affects your rights, we will provide notice at least 15 days before the change takes effect unless a shorter period is reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, provider requirements, or law.
The updated Terms will identify the new effective date and version. When required by law, we will obtain renewed acceptance. Continued use after an update becomes effective constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
27. General Terms
If any provision of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect, and the unenforceable provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent, except where applicable law permits. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, acquisition, sale of assets, or similar transaction.
Except for Apple's third-party-beneficiary rights expressly stated above, these Terms do not create third-party beneficiaries.
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Data Processing Addendum when applicable, the Messaging Addendum when applicable, and purchase terms presented at checkout constitute the agreement governing the Service.
