Signals, not secret formulas
Know what informs the recommendation
GMP can consider overdue age, reminder history, payment promises and missed promises, prior payment behavior, positive payments, customer responses, meaningful recent activity, and whether automated collection follow-up has reached its practical end. Proprietary scoring values and thresholds stay private.
Reminder history matters
GMP keeps track of how many reminders were sent and can recognize when automated collection reminders have reached the owner-handoff point.
Promises stay actionable
An active promise can support waiting. A missed or partially fulfilled promise can move the account back into attention.
Partial payments matter
A partial payment lowers the balance and shows recent customer activity, while collections continue on what remains.
